At NYU's Skirball Theater, over 20 leading advocates and authors will come together to expose the ways our democratic processes have deteriorated over the last 30 years -- and how the Bush administration is more interested in exporting democracy abroad than in protecting it here at home.   The one-day event will feature 9 topical panels and will result in a published "Contract for Democracy."  More information soon.  Tickets will go on sale online in mid-November.  Co-hosts: Demos, People for the American Way Foundation & The Nation.
